CHISPA : In a sudden violent turn of events, Seattle Washington becomes plagued by flesh-eating ghouls who all have one bizarre thing in common: none of them are Mexican! Barely escaping with their lives in the gentrified suburbs, siblings Marisol and Javier barricade themselves in a local taquer a and meet a motley group of survivors. Tension builds as the number of victims and ghouls grow, while the remaining defenders plot an escape from the city.

CHISPA : The Thirteen Origins is a series of one-shot origin stories for the members of The Thirteen, a group of Mexicans and Mexican Americans who discover they are chispas, able to wield impossible powers. Zoe Vidal's birthday is difficult for her, and her eighteenth is no different. As she was born, her mother died willingly to give Zoe life. This year's birthday is even worse than normal because a real estate developer is trying to buy out the entire block that her family's restaurant is in to gentrify the entire place. When the real estate developer's goons try to burn her home in the middle of the night in a bid to force them out, Zoe's powers reveal themselves and she has to choose what kind of spark she'll be-vengeful, or life-giving.

CHISPA : Two Mexican American siblings travel with their parents on a business trip to Mexico, where they visit the impressive Maya ruins of Chichen Itza accompanied by their boss's grandkids and a quirky company chaperone. But their exploration of the tourist attraction goes sideways when the kids sneak into the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent and fall into the secret cenote beneath. As they emerge from a vast underground lake, they realize they've been transported to another world, full of super-sized creatures... and even bigger kaiju!
