They invited him to stay with them, which he did for a year – until Bradford reappeared, now selling rum and weapons to the Catawbas’ rival tribes. Bradford killed Great Eagle and fought with Dan – who was now known as the White Indian, where Bradford plummeted off a cliff to his death!
