Suicide Island Volume 2

If a suicide attempt survivor can barely live in modern Japan, how would one fare alone on the remote Suicide Island? A celebrated manga series by Kouji Mori that evokes both Lord of the Flies and Battle Royale ! A mentally ill man, Sei, is transported by the Japanese government to a mysterious, remote island after several failed suicide attempts. On “Suicide Island,” Sei must learn how to survive with a group of fellow suicidal citizens—or figure out how to die! In this volume, Sei finds the courage to leave the main group and test out his newly-made bow and arrows, tracking and hunting deer for the first time in his young life! This series is created, written, and drawn by mangaka Kouji Mori ( Holyland , Berserk Volume 42), with translations by Kumar Sivasubramanian ( I Am a Hero , Blade of the Immortal ) and lettering by Eisner Award-nominated Steve Dutro ( The Fifth Beatle, Eden: It’s an Endless World! ). For mature audiences.
